Great news for The Benefit for Kinsley and the Osage Roost !!! Update on Kinsle

 Most of you are aware of the ongoing call auction that Gregg Guthridge and myself have been running for the last 6 months to raise money for the Armstrong family and their 5 yr old daughter , Kinsley who has cancer . Thanks to the callmakers and collectors on Osage Roost and Turkey Call Junkies , we have raised over $9,000 so far .
 I was recently contacted by a well-known outdoor writer from the North American Hunting Club about doing a story about the fund-raising efforts we have been accomplished so far . The story goes to print in a week and will appear in the June/July issue of North american Hunter magazine . I am really excited about this and I hope it will help keep us callmakers and collectors interested in her situation . So far we have had donations of calls from 26 people and many of you have sent in monetary donations as well .
 We still have calls coming in to be auctioned and I hope to keep them coming as well as any cash that you can spare to help them out . So please continue your support of this worthy cause and do something to help out if you can .
 Keep you eyes open for the story and if you aren't a member , you can join the North American Hunting Club for only $12.00 and you will get the upcoming issue .

How is Kinsley getting along?

 Thanks for the nice comments guys , but it's not about mine or Gregg's efforts at all . I am doing this for the same reason as all of you who have donated or purchased calls ... to help out a family in need . I have tried hard not to get any exposure for myself or my calls, I just can't help but do what I can to make it a little easier on the Armstrong family . I am extremely happy with how all of you have stepped up to do the same ! Thanks to all of YOU !!!
 Kinsley has been very ill lately . She has undergone two rounds of very strong Chemo-therapy and still has two more treatments to go . She has taken a bad turn from the treatments and has been unable to eat for almost a week . She was taken to the hospital about a week ago and they kept her because of her current condition . They have been feeding her but she is very sick . I pray that she can make it through two more treatments and get back to being a kid again .
 My reward for helping will come in the form of Little Kinsley growing and living a normal life . That is what would make the efoorts that all of us have put forward , a success . Thanks again everyone !
