Ivory trumpet
« on: March 29, 2012, 04:51:49 PM »
About a year ago Scott (Packfan) asked me to build him an Ivory trumpet call with a gold ferrule. We talked about it for awhile and I kicked around ideals for the ferrule. One night while talking to him his son said Morel Mushrooms. So the quest began, I contacted Steve Lumma with the ideal to do the ferrule and when I received it. Man what a job he did on the artwork. This is the first Ivory call I have ever sold. I built one before but man it really was bad. Scott encouraged me to build this call over and over. I held off until I got my sound right and with this last tweaking on the sound of my trumpet's and the response I have been getting from the Dirty Dozen Calls. I decided to go ahead an build the call. I finished the call last night. Scott thanks for asking for this call. I hope you enjoy it and kill a turkey with it.
