I received a package today from Bill Lyman, aka callmakerman. I got a Wenge aluminum/glass pot call and some killer strikers. After running the call it is very easy to see why Bill took 1st and 2nd place in the aluminum pot category at Nationals this year. This one will see a lot of vest time. Great sounding call.
Most of you guys know about my striker addiction. Bill made me some absolute killers. His strikers are so well balanced and runs well on any surface. His tips are conditioned to grip the surface of a call. I am also posting an ambrosia Maple Soft Talker with a ceramic tipped striker he sent me a few weeks ago. I used this one in Mississippi and the roosted gobblers loved it at first light. Thanks again Bill. I can sure say I have never gotten anything made by you that was not pure turkey.
