Growing up the traditional early spring ramp dinner always fixed by my great grand mom and grand mom was stewed ramps, a few fresh ramps on the side, fried tators, a big chunk of salt cured ham, brown beans and cornbread. The old folks always washed it all down with buttermilk. I never could get the knack for liking buttermilk..
