2 shortboxes headed to a hunters vest

here are two Mineral stained Poplars. The owner wanted a black one and one with color in it....the black I matched up with Maple for contrast, and the owner asked that I put Walnut on the colored up blank. The black on has the same mineral inlays in it from the body of the call and well as the other one. Both came out sounding great as Poplar usually does,,,,very nice purrs , great break with super back end and  a gobbler to beat the band. Hope the new owner finds room in the vest for em and that they roll a bunch for him

You found a great supply of Poplar Jeff.

I carried a McKamey Maple over Mineral Poplar short box last  year.  It's a great combination.
