Another Arkansas Beauty

No David, I don't mean you. Most of you know drenalinld, one of our newer members, is also from Arkansas. But unfortunately he is like me and does not have to worry about winning any beauty contests.

I got this Arkansas beauty in the mail yesterday from Don & Sarah Clark. It caught me off guard as I was not expecting it. It is made with an Apple lid and base and Poplar box. I am not sure I have seen this combo in a box call before. Great look and also great sound in this one. Sarah burned a feather on the lid to set off Don's woodwork. Thanks for another fine call Don & Sarah.

Ricky, I've never seen that combo either.  If it's from Don and Sarah I know it's a top shelf caller all the way!!..... Congrats !!

Another excellent work of art and call from the Clarks. Man can Don pack feathers into a box, and his best half Sarah, good thing he has her to add the finishing touches that set his stuff apart. They are great boxes for sure.

Well, well, well. Taking cheap shots at members of the winning team! All is fair in the contest..... *lol* *lol*. You're right though, I sure ain't much to look at. It will be bad looking at my grill over and over and over with all the gobblers in a few weeks.

I will say I heard about this combo and could not wait to see what it looked like. That is stunning! Great combo. Can't wait to hear her. I have got to make a little time and slide up to Batesville to get my turkey chokers on a few of Ricky's prizes very soon.
