Steve, I hate that happened. Prob. a pill head. Seems like more and more of this kind of thing going on. If you haven't cut and split all the trees around there maybe you can string em up when he gets caught.

Well, the Wetzel county sheriff, the next county up, called the city police and said that they retrieved a log splitter with a Toyota motor and tranny that had been sitting along a back road for three weeks.
The exhaust was ripped off and is very dirty but it's all there including the battery.
We went and brought it home tonight.

 
 
Bet ya never saw a 4 cylinder, 4speed log splitter with a radio. *lol* *lol*

They say that the deputy has a few ideas and doesn't plan on letting this die. He is tired of all the robberies

Good news glad you got it back! That is quite a splitter all it needs is a steering wheel you could drive it around. The neatest looking splitter I have ever laid eyes on.  *aah* Hope they find the crook's and run them through that thing.
