Well as you all know there are some fine folks around here and us callmakers like to wheel and deal...comes with the territory. Well here are a few of my latest acquistions. 1st a sweet lil scratch box from the Shadetree made of Ipe, Zebrawood and Curly Movingui. Bob's craftsmanship shines once again and after running these dandies at Nashville I was sold on a new pure turkley killer. This lil caller will be tucked nealy in my vest to close the deal this spring. 2nd, is my first long box...yep, my first from Twisting Creek Calls. Jeff was fortunate to acquire

some of the finest Ipe around and with his magic he managed to blend it just right with some fine Wisconcin Butternut to produce one nasty turkey thumper. I figured out how to run these in Nashville, not too hard really and I took to it like a new born to the nip___! Gonna have to find a spot in the vest this spring for this monster, but it'll be there for sure. 3rd is a set of sweet bones, one a young gobbler and the other a hen from LT Pack. LT doesn't post much, but let me tell that doesn't mean he isn't busy and making some fine fine calls. We have seen many of his beautiful box calls, well let me tell you he can tie up a set of bones just right. Now learning to run these...well, that will surely take some time and much practice, but as a blues harmonica player I have already managed to tweek out a few solid yelps and the start of a kee-kee, so come turkey season on the 1st of May I'll be ready.

Thanks my good friends for your gifted talents...it sure is a pleasure knowing you and sharing this great craft and tradition of turkey hunting we all enjoy.
