Rubbers made in the USA

Ok I've been wearing LaCrosse boots for several years.  I have had to buy 3 pairs in the last 4 years due to them cracking around the ankle area.  I've talked to several other wearers and it's about 50/50 on this happening to them.

I read a bunch about this and most people point to the Chinese rubber being used causing it.  All I know, seems ridiculous to buy a new pair each year. 

So I went searching for something to replace my LaCrosse Alpha Burly's that were made in the .  I know Northerners are still made here, but they lack the support I need for wearing daily.  I wear Northerners exclusively working on the farm and they have terrible arch support.

So is there any alternative made in the that are like the Alpha Burly's?  I looked at the Under Armour boots (of course made overseas) and may go that direction if I cannot find something made here in the .

Mike I've never had the problems your having with the LaCross boots. I have 2 pair that have been around for at least 3 years now and the still keep me warm and dry. If your still going to look then check out the Russell boots. They make each pair to fit you but the price is up there.

Get yourself a pair of L.L.Bean boots they are made in Maine. I wear them all the time check them out on their website. If you don't like them send them back they will refund your money no questions ask.

Lacrosse boots were once my favorites, but more and more lately people are having the problems you have described.  It is unfortunate since they are very comfortable.  I have been wearing Mucks more lately but they too are made oversees.

That's what I was thinking.. I pulled out my ole NOrtherners down here at the parents (made in the usa), but dang they hurt my feet after awhile...

The mucks just do not fit my feet very good and the LaCrosse do..  I found some rubber boots conditioner from LaCrosse that I'll buy and put on my next pair.  I've read it has helped some...  It's just a shame to have this happen.  Some do it and some do not.  I wish I could figure out what pairs/kind does not.  I'm 3 for 3 on getting pairs that crack and split   And these are all kept inside when not in use...

I have run the gamut of rubber boots.. From Rocky, to Itasca, lacrosse and others I have surely forgotten.. I am super tough on boots and most years a pair of rubber boots dont last a spring or a fall.. I have had a pair of Drake mudders for a year and they have logged some serious miles, turkey, goose, duck and deer hunting with no problems.. I HIGHLY doubt they are made here.

Mike I wear Irish Setter boots. They are made by Redwing. The rubbers are lighter then most and the exoflex deal on the back helps your feet in and out alot easier. I find mine very comfy, and there's a Redwing store here in town too.

Love my Muck Boots ...... Have wore out lacrosse burlys trouble in the seems.... My brother  told me of these muck boots he wares to work in ..So I gave then a try hands down alot better on feet to me and I have Gout in both feet so comfort , durability and warmth are a must for me.... My 2 cents
