Callmakers nightmare
« on: February 15, 2012, 08:16:34 PM »
I have had a lot of hurdles the past year.... Was sick most of 2011.... laid off last week, but nothing made the heart sink like this did this morning. My wood cabinet had an electrical short in it and it burned about everything I had in it from desert ironwood to ebony. the GOOD news is it didn't take the shop. I got out there just in time. Lastly the amazing part of the whole deal was how my dog was dragging wood that was smoldering out of the shop as I ripped it out of the cabinet trying to contain the fire. The dog is definitely a keeper. 2012 is starting out like a bear lol!!

This too, shall soon pass!  Good thing you only lost some wood and not your entire workshop!
