I have mixed emotions about this. I'm glad we are in a big-time conference, but it will be a long way for fans to travel and I am going to miss the old rivalries.

Yep Steve,
I am going to miss the Backyard Brawl too..
We had some Great games through the years.. And saw some of the top Notch players
that went to the NFL and had careers..( mostly Pitt). *lol* *lol* *lol* *lol* *lol*

Awesome... I just hope the Big 12 can survivie...  It's more known for basketball than football it seems, but hopefully this will strengthen it up!

Its really strange whats going on in the college ranks. My MU tigers are going to the sec next yr *cry*. I guess the lure of $ is bigger than tradition and rivalries. Its sad. But that being said welcome to the big 12

Guess that your Pitty Kitties are going to have to live with the fact that they lost the last backyard brawl in both football and basketball. *lol*

"Pitty Kitties," I like that!  Gotta remember that one.

Watched Kelly's Fighting Irish jolt them at Heinz Field this past season, pretty cool.  First time seeing Notre Dame play in person.
