As many of you know I do not post pictures of calls that I make very often unless I think that they need to be shared, as is the case with this call set. This set is headed west and all of the art work was done by Kelly Puckett, and trust me when I say this the pictures do not do the actual calls any justice, the detail in her art work is unbelievable.
This Cost Style Short box with no checkering is the last call in this set of calls that I made for the fellow out west who had ask me to make the set for him after seeing another similar set that I had done a year prior for a fellow call maker here in PA. All of the calls in this set the primary wood is Flamed Box Elder with black Accents, being either Buffalo Horn for the Trumpet call or Gaboon Ebony, or Ebonized Black Walnut for the box calls, Scratch box, Crow call and Tube Call.
These are the first 5 calls of the set that I made for the fellow out west who already has these calls in his possession.

All of these calls were beautiful with just the wood itself but to Add Kelly's art to each of these calls took each and every one of them Over the Top in my opinion. Thank you Kelly for gracing all of these beautiful calls with you awesome ART talent. The last of these calls , the Short Box will get mailed out at the end of the week once I have had time to tune the box to where I am happy with the quality of the sound that its capable of. The owner has the first 5 calls of this set and I believe he is very happy with them but I will leave that to him to comment on if he wishes.
