The Apostle Paul's Philosophy of Life
« on: January 06, 2010, 04:51:46 PM »
Philippians 3:12-16: 12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do , forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same

1. The Plan is Progress Not Perfection!
    There's always room for Improvement!

2. The Past Is Over, Forget It!
It's not what we are, but who we are!

3. The Secret Is a Determined Attitude, Maintain It!
What lesson is to be learned next?

4. The Need Is Maintaining A High Standard...Together!
Those who "Hang Tough" do better when doing so with others!

Benjamin Franklin said when signing the Declaration of Independence, " We must all hang together, or assuredly we will all hang separately".

I hope this is not too long, I love this passage.

Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
