Here is my 6th place one sided box call. I designed this call for a fundraiser me and some good friends had for Miranda.

My thanks go to us all, the competitors who love what they do and for doing it for the right reasons, to the judges for helping and volunteering, to folks like Neal who support us well...for making this great sport a reality, for keeping it alive and well, for the commradarie and providing an opportunity to be heard.

look forward to seeing everyone in Nashville soon *aah* *up*

Congrats to everyone, job well done by all who won and entered!!!!!!!!!!

For those who are watching the auction and interested in a call that is a little different and unique, the one call that I entered and was fortunate enough to win 4th place with is one of my style of Adjustable yelpers.  The length of the sound chamber on this call can be shortened or lengthened by twisting and pulling the bell end of the call to change its length and the pitch/sound of the call.  The call is signed and dated but is not numbered, it is only # 11 of that style call that I have made to date.  The calls bell section is Goncola Alves with a Snakewood mid section (that has lines for adjustment) with a buffalo horn ferrule and Buffalo Horn Mouth Piece with matching buffalo horn bead on the lanyard.

Congratulations to all of the callmakers, I've judged Midwest now for 15 years and to me my payment is not only being able to play the calls but to be able to meet all of the great call makers, now some I've only talked with over the phone and others I've met in person on several occasions.

It's the friendships I treasure the most, so thank you to everyone for the kind words. We try to improve things every year and there always seems to be some issue every year but we work through it. I have some ideas for next year to improve things again to keep improving and growing the contest, when or if changes get made we'll let everyone know. Now that being said get back in the shop Nashville is in 10 days!!!!
