Osage pot I made tonight
« on: August 29, 2009, 08:56:58 PM »
First time I have ever worked with Osage. This is a call I made for myself out of a blank that Richard from Ozark Calls sent me. I hope I did the gift proud. The emblem on the inside is burnt and it's the first one I have done also. I just got done turning it so there is no finish on the pot yet. The pictures don't do it justice, but I wanted to post them anyway. Not bragging at all, I was just proud at how good this pot looks to me.

I beleive it is the mud cured fence post. Either way, I will definately be getting some more to turn.

Looks good but how does it sound? What kind of surface and sound board does it have?

Not finished yet. It will have a bronzed glass over glass when it's done. If it sounds good it will be in my vest for the Spring.  *ride*
