Final touch on my little project
« on: November 01, 2012, 07:17:55 PM »
Added the final touch to my little 20 ga. put some Mossy Oak vinyl gun skins on her.
Weatherby SA08 20 ga. 28 inch pipe. Added a pistol grip, Ring of Fire fiber optic sights, claw sling, Sum toy 562-5, and Fed 7s. I want to keep it simple without relying on battery operated sights. She has three notches on her from last season.

She is Jon. Right at 6lbs. Shoots awesome with federal heavyweight 7 s. I bought it with two weeks left in SC/GA seasons and ended up shooting three with it.

I have to get a 20. Looks great with the skins. Were they hard to line up?

Naw they weren't to bad. I got some wrinkles on the forearm but the rest turned out pretty good. I probably gonna dip it in the future..just can't afford it right now.

I won't ever go back to a 12 ga again for turkey hunting as long as I can get the HTL 7s. For the 20. Im loving this weatherby.

 *up* *up*

Nice gun, nice pattern with the #7s.  Good choice on the camo pattern too.

I talked one of my buddies into getting one. He got the youth model though with 24 inch pipes. Put same choke in it and added a FF3. Called me a little while ago and shot a 169 in 40 with his first shot.
