I just wanted to share a picture of my daughter's first deer. She took this button buck she tought was a doe. She took the deer on 11-24-12 at 7:50 a.m. She shoot the deer at a range of 109 yards. The gun is a DPMS AR-15 topped with Leupold MARK AR 4-12x40 scope. The ammo of choice was Federal American Eagle Varmint Tipped 50 GR. She is still on cloud nine. I never would have thought that a small bullet could take a deer. But it did some damage for a small bullet. I am a happy Dad. (http://www.hunt101.com/data/500/medium/IMG_11584.JPG)
