Ok...I guess I'll post up...My name is Craig Scott and i'm a newbie....I am a proud father of 4, 3 boys and 1 girl and husband to a wonderful wife...I'm 35 yrs old and live in Springfield Ga...( bout 30 mins outside Savannah) I work as an HVAC mechanic and tech for my brother who bought the company about 4 yrs ago...I love hunting, fishing, the outdoors and building things..Although i'm not new to hunting I have only been chasing birds for about 5 yrs...gettin serious about it in the past two yrs...I started with call building only a couple months ago..I was at my wifes uncles house and seen he had a lathe and thought hmmm I wonder...untill then I have never used a lathe much less tryed to build a call...needless to say I need to go to CMA ( CALL MAKERS ANONOMUS) cause i'm an ADDICT now..lol...I still have alot to learn and a long way to go to get to the point where I can comfortably say i'm a custom call maker... As a member on this forum as well as others I have recieved alot of help and met many new people and hope to meet many more....I have only turned a few pots and strikers and also a deer grunt... hopefully thats just the begining...well I'm kinda runnin outa things to say so i'll just say thanks for the help in advance.....

Welcome Craig! Like Mike said, you will find a lot of help here from anyone, all you have to do is ask. Gees it seems like there are a lot of guys from Georgia here. I was in Georgia once and I loved it! I was in the Brunswick area for training. We also hit Savanah for Octoberfest, beautiful people for sure. Good luck, Jeff

The thing is that he really don't need to much help. I have the best call ever and it was made by Muddpuppi. I will have some pictures to post up soon. For the time being all I can say is that it really caught me off guard. I am proud to call Criag my friend and his calls are top notch even if he is new. Gentleman when he gets some season to him.......Look out. The roast, taters, and carrots aint bad either.
