John Eddleman came by my house this afternoon and showed me one of his Stribling-type calls that I just fell in love with...yelps like a house afire! Cherry over Walnut! What do you salesmen say? "Get your hands on a Toyota and you'll..."
A couple of Mississippi Scratch Boxes and a picture of Ben Franklin was all it took to get John to part with it. Take a good look, Jeff, John will be sanding your name off the bottom of it tomorrow! ROTFLMBO

Woke up this morning and someone was knockin' on my door. Billy Bob and Joe Bob. Worn out overalls and not a full set of teeth between them. I told them that Tom Crook moved to Arkansas and I had not seen him for a couple of years. I gave them each a Bud Lite and a bag of peanuts and they hit the trail in an old '89 Toyota pickup with a Capitol Toyota sticker on the tailgate. Be careful, John, they may come through Greenville if the Toyota holds out. Mean lookin' ol' boys but not much brains. Or teeth! Distant cousins of Jeff's, I expect.

Dont worry about their Demo---it will make it no doubt---its more reliable than dem two ole boyz fer shure !! Sure hope them penuts were boiled---its easier for them to gum them...it will get them along way up the road and keep their expense account down for me.

Billy Bob and Joe Bob just came through Greenville headed to Arkansas, but I told them John had gone down the river for a week or so. Loaned them my 12 ft. Gehnoe and a paddle. They said they were launching behind Harrah's here on the river in that old Toyota truck. --- Jeff, you want see those boys again. First towboat wave in that boat and it will be all overwith. I will pick my boat up at Mayersville, but they will never find Billy Bob and Joe Bob.

I was crossing over the Shenandoah River early this morning and saw two worn out fellas paddeling down the river towards DC. Had to be buck-an-ears Bill. Had a friend call me that they pulled my boat up on a sandbar at Duncansby Towhead about 28 miles downriver. Said that Lee had let up a little bit and they were dove hunting a willow flat where the doves like to roost. It was just before dark and they thought they saw what they thought was a couple of wild hogs with big ears scampering up the other side of the river into Ark. Had to be those buck-an-ears pirates Bill Bob and Joe Bob. The woods down there are big and wide. They will spend the night in there for sure.
