Title: the ole add---Georgia's on my mind

Got me a invite to hunt some really good properity in the great State of Ga. Did not hunt Ga last season, but going to pay a little attention to this land this year. Started the day off on my Tenn mtn properity with a hard frost and gusty winds. Stayed with em as long as I could there ---then bugged out for the new Georgia properity to slip around and hunt a little to see what I may do there at daylight another day. Was strolling above a greenfield on a ridge when this ole bird just had to gobble back at a crow call. It was on !!!!!  *bannana*
After some 45 minutes of calling ,gobbling and finally hearing him drum for 15 minutes where I knew he was in range but couldnt see him...he stepped clear of the line of trees bewteen us----he was already at 22 yds!!!--The gun was pointed there and it went off ---the nitro's work in Georgia too---that Georgia bird liked the ride in my truck !!!

Congrats on another fine longbeard Jeff.  Ladies and Gentlemen, I think we may be looking at a new Osage Roost record for number of kills in one season.

have had my share of "issues " this season too, but boy has it been fun. I have run across actors after actors.....just ole scardy cat is tormenting me still. Have let him be a few days....gonna have to give it a try at him again soon. Ya asked, its 4 in Alabama,2 in Florida,2 in Tennessee,and 1 in Georgia. Its been a great seson full of close up drumming so far......hope my karma continues.
Just finished re treating the ole SNAKE BOOTS with waterproofing....they are ready for the task at hand once again *bannana*.
These days of very little sleep are adding up---but---are not over yet.
