Title: GREAT start to the NC season !!

Shot this ole' boy around 11:00 am.  We were just trolling up a hill cutting on my box call when he sounded off on the other side.  I set up around 20 yards from the crest of the ridge.   I used a mouth call to sweet talk him on in (which by the way is a new prototype SS mouth call we are experimenting with).  I heard him spitting and drumming loudly right before he crested the hill, where he received a face full of #7 Hevi shot.   He weighed a touch over 20lbs, 9.5" beard and 1" spurs.   It was a GREAT start to the NC season !!
