Title: A couple from Louisiana
Post by: KPcalls on April 04, 2011, 03:10:46 PM
I killed these two the first week of the La, season. The first bird was a text book hunt. He gobbled good on the limb, pitched down and came in on a dead run....as it sometimes happens.... The second bird was roosted with several hens and a couple of jakes. I moved in dangerously close to get in to the game, since it was still dark enough for me to do so. The whole flock light one by one into full view. Within a couple of minutes the whole group was headed my way.....love it when a plan comes together.

So let me get this straight...did you shoot these birds or simply let them get real real close and reach out and choke em...cause that's what it looks like from here!  Tha 1st bird is a biggun and a beautiful fan.

Congrats Kenny on a fine pair of Louisiana gobblers. I think you are about to qualify for the title of turkey thug. So far McKamey and Tim Clayton are the only two I have bestowed that title on this year.
