After five hard days of hunting I finally saw a deer and being that this big spike was the deer I saw, he had the misfortune of coming home with me. ;D
My nephew sat on stand with me yesterday and this is the fourth year in a row that I've harvested a buck with him in the stand. Guess you can call him my good luck charm.
I'm waiting for him to be old enough to be able hunt on his own so that I can give him my stand to hunt from. Guess old uncle Lou will have to find a new spot...at least till my other nephew is old enough to take that one...then I'll be off to find another new spot again.
