My son called me about 11:00 this AM. He was telling me he was going to take my grandson to the big Wildlife Expo in Jackson,Ms this afternoon. He is only two and is soaking stuff up like a sponge. He asked what I was doing. --- I asked him if he remembered a fishing trip about 21 years ago when I took he and his friend Warren Greenlee to Cooper Chute( An old Ms. River Chute about 30 minutes south of Greenville,Ms.). I said you remember the trip where we were siting in one of my favorite spots and you were hollering, "Come on Daddy lets move to another spot, we have caught absolutely nothing here." You remember I saw a bass swirl in an unlikely spot and caught three on the next three casts. I had the boat positioned so you could not throw where I started catching them. After 3 you said "Allright Daddy, we know they are here, swing the boat around so we can catch some." I think we ended up with 36 that day. I told him I was siting on that same spot and catching one on just about every cast. I said they are about the same size, running 1 1/2 to 2 1/2. I told him it won't be long before I will have my grandson there catching them on the same spot. I ended up with 21, all of which I returned for another day of fun. Hopefully, next time I will have my grandson with me to have some fun.

It's funny how that works out like that. I've done that multiple times!
We just recently stocked some ponds that should be ready to go next year! I cannot wait to get the boy out catching some fish again...
It's fun taking kids out fishing!

When I could still fish, a buddy and I had a spot for 10 years that was always a productive place on the lake, been 10 years or so since I could go with him but he still fishes the same spot with awesome results, on Lake Wise here in GA!
