Title: "Nutty" Longbox from the SS Boys
Post by: letinmfly on March 11, 2010, 05:16:39 PM
This Walnut/Butternut longbox arrived in today's mail.  Within the first five minutes of playing this call I understood why it's Al's favorite wood combo for his longboxes.
The soft calls are as sweet as the loud calls.  It has a high front end and breaks into a nasty rasp on the backend of the yelps.  The kee-kee's are just awesome, not to mention the clucks, purrs and cutts.  RkLu
I'd swear there's a turkey inside this call. ;)
Thanks for a great sounding call Al and for the recommendation of this wood combo. *cheers*

Al and Josh must have known you are going to carry that one because they didn't lay any bricks on the paddle to way it down.....   ROTFLMBO
