SLICK- TRICK .... I like em, Devastating. They really OPEN a Hog up, and Down here in the Swamps, ifin they get very far, [ 30 yrds or less in some cases ] You will never find em if they get out o sight. You need a good Blood trail in a swamp, and most B/heads tend to close on hogs that I have used, Montecs, Wasps, thunderheads, and many more through the years, thundr heads are very underrated, but the Slick Tricks OPEN A HOLE. I would like to know what ya'll shoot Poundage wise on yer Compounds. I have toned it down to 60#, I am a lot more accurate, I had it at 70#, and could shoot Tight groups at 30 yrds, I am now, even Tighter, at 30, they are all in about a 6" Circle. Some of My local hunting buds, are better, by far, I have been shooting with them for years, and cant achieve what they shoot, do not know why, just aint a gonna happen , they say my peep is TO BIG, mebe. At 20, it is dead, no matter what it iz..even 30, it seldom leaves. What do you all shoot ?? and at what Poundage ?? Long, recurve, Compound, whatever you are shooting..

i agree about the slick tricks, they are nasty. i have shot several different bh's over the years, with some fixed and some expandable. i will most likely be shooting the slick tricks this year. my bow (compound) is set at 68#'s.

-
I'm shooting Slick Tricks (100 grain magnum's). I didn't have to make any adjustments to my sights at all between my S T's & field tips. I'm sold on em'.

Matthews Featherweight with 125 grain Muzzies......65 lbs....

... PSE X-Force SS - 70lb x 29.5" - 75g Rocket MiniBlasters
(http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/9008/p9270739.jpg)
... BowTech 82nd - 70lb x 30" - same broadheads
I do have the Slick Trick 85g Standards & they are great fixed blades for sure - just never had a problem with the MiniBlasters ...
... as far as the "size of a peep" ...
Your peep should just halo your sight's pin enclosure (sight circle inside the peep circle) just enough to still see it at full draw - the tighter the tolerances, the tighter the groups "should be" - just like a rifle scope, key is the same "view" everytime ... 8)
... too big of a peep = too much play in the sight picture = "looser" groups
... too small of a peep = can't see the sight pin enclosure = no consistant point of reference in the sight picture
... G5 Meta Peeps are some goodun's for sure - excellent low light peeps ... *cheers*

im shootin a mathews switchback/ 28.5 at 70 lbs/ beaman ics pros with rage 3 blade 100 and muzzy 3 blade 100s.....sword sight...ripcord rest...it does the job fer me......as far as the peep i think J R was dead on...you want it to fit the sight...but i have also learned to shoot usin the gap above the peep for low light conditions...just gota compensate the pins...
