Title: Handled Short Boxes
Post by: CCCalls on January 21, 2010, 07:55:53 PM
Here's some handled short boxes I did a while back. I don't think I ever posted all of these.
I don't build many of these, cause they can be a bear to tune.
Thought you might like to take a look.
Thanks,
Timbo.

That one might be yours, I really don't remember. What lid does yours have?

Yeah the top one is mine (or assuming not too many people wanted one like that :) ).  You built one in your Chain Gang pattern too.  I'm pretty sure I ordered mine before you started doing that.

Heck now I'm confused, I'll have to look  ROTFLMBO

Nice work Tim.  I like the chain gang, but I  really like the cedar, nice combination of  woods.

What make's them harder to tune?

Danny

Danny, they are deeper than my standard short boxes, and the sound chamber is a little longer. They are designed to be a deeper toned call.
Tim.
