Title: Mustard Fried Venison Steaks
Post by: G8ORB8 on January 13, 2010, 01:28:26 PM
Mustard Fried Venison Steaks

1 lb. Venison cubed steak
½ C. Prepared Mustard
2/3 C. Flour
1 t. Salt
6 T. Vegetable Oil

Brush venison cubed steaks on both sides with prepared mustard.  Mix flour and salt and dredge mustard-painted steaks in flour. Heat 6 tablespoons oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and quickly cook floured steaks until golden brown. Serve immediately.

Any kind of mustard works well - try yellow, brown, Dijon, or whatever you like best. An inexpensive paint brush makes "painting" the steaks quick and easy.
