The Cypress used in this set came from the original cistern of the Dixie Brewing Company in New Orleans. The cistern was installed in 1907. After five years and the receipt of a funky antler that was requested I incorporate into the display, I got inspired to complete the set. Calls are a Jug call and Roanoke Trumpet, two of my original designs.

I knew these historic wood blanks would be in great hands when I mailed them years ago. Your inspiration was spot on and a beautiful set of trumpets was born! I hope to pose some dead turkeys with them this Spring. Thank you, Ralph, for your craftsmanship and friendship.
