Tony Ezolt has been kind of an online mentor for turkey hunting for me. My first few years at it I can't begin to tell you how many questions I asked him, and how many things he had to just shake his head. LOL He always responded back, and told it to me straight. When I listened to his advice things always found a way to work out, when I didn't, well, not so much. *lol*
Tony had made my son and I a match set of wingbones out of my 2015 birds. I loved them, but am aslo a fan of Jordan's since my buddy Lee Bowles sent me one last spring. I knew Tony had started into making them as well and wanted a matched Jordan to go with my wingbone. I asked Tony to make me one and we worked out a trade for some of my custom beadhead nymphs for fly fishing.
I got the call yesterday along with the call Tony is donated to the vest I am putting together for this years PA turkey call auction to benefit Grant Ely, being put together by Rick Harro.

Really love this call. I am not a pro on suction calls by any means, but she will kee kee very easy with not a lot of draw. I found the call makes awesome tree yelps and feel I will be using it in the spring as well. I am still working on yelps with wingbones and jordans, but this one can really cast them. Not sure if this makes sense but the call is pretty snappy. I can just about get a fly down cackle on it. I am still working with control on the call but heck I just got it last night.

Now I didn't run this for obvious reason but know it will be a killer call as well.
Thanks again Tony. I have to tie up a few flies for the Tri-County Longbeards Chapter banquet, then my first ever "Grand Slam" Nymph kit for Andy Snair, but you are up right after that. Don't worry you'll be hooked up good by the time you can use them. I'm going to toss in some streamers and buggers as well. You really set the bar high with this call.

Mike you did well for yourself with the Jordan from Tony. I like you, I am a big fan of his work. I have several of his wingbones and they are top shelf and I know that his Jordan's are in the same class. *up*

Here is the matching set for my boy and I. My boy was 3 at the time so Tony made him a smaller wingbone. He also hooked Corbin up with an all snow goose yelper that can kee kee like a champ. Corbin was actually running it last night as we were practicing for our calling contest coming up.
