While I was at work this morning I received a text from FKIII today and he asked if the postmen had made his stop for the day.. I asked.. what for?? He said.. just wondering.. Well as most of you can guess my 1 hrs drive home turned into a 35min NASCAR audition. I took every corner as if I was Harry Gantt riding the highline and leaving the slower cars in the dust before they even seen me drafting there rear corner panel!!! Turning into the driveway on two wheels.. sliding the tahoe sideways atop some recently fallen pine straw. I then walked briskly into the house(Okay.. it was a slight jog) asking the wife.. "where are they" she said.. "who.. the kids?".. No my post office package.. she said she hadn't gotten the mail off the front step from where the postmen left "something"... something.. "SOMETHING!!!!" WHAT?? she'll never understand... okay.. you all know how I feel!
So.. 2 years on a wait list.. and all wood came from my shop, which makes it more special. Thanks Frank for your friendship and this wonderful surprise!

Ya Jeff, He and I had a long discussion in regards to those ears one time. He and I were sitting at a little table in the middle of some hotel lobby earlier this year.... To make a really long story short...He was trying to convince me that his ears were a gift from God that enabled him to tune calls in a way that "Normal Folk" just couldn't achieve. So being the guy I am and willing to listen to almost any advise, and have decided that this fall the State Fair is coming in town.....I'll be picking up a set to see if they help out!
