Yep, you read it right!
I'm a tube call man and make my own calls from metal pill cans. I have however been playing with trumpets for the last couple years. A few months back I had an idea...combine the two. I got with call maker Austin Bott and he came up with these. Different yes but they are full of turkey and very, very easy to run. I'm quite proud of them and hope y'all don't mind me sharing.
Call on left is made from figured Asian Satinwood, call on right is made from Marblewood, both have buffalo horn mouthpieces.

Barry, those are awesome and I have enjoyed your old school tube calls in the past. I really like the looks of these! *up* *up*

Those are very cool. Some years ago, a call maker used the tops of aluminum beer cans as bells on his trumpets. I have several and I like the idea. If I can, I will post a picture.

Not to hi-jack your thread Barry, but Cornbread made some tube calls out of the neck of aluminum beer bottles.
Unique calls you have there Barry.

I have one of those beer bottle tubes that Bread sent me along with a couple biscuits. Now we just need to talk him into making some more strumpets!
