Well, as most have said, the end of turkey season is bittersweet.  I can finally get back to focusing on work and saving up to chase these wonderfully peculiar birds next year.

This year was another great year for me.  I killed my limit in MS, KS, SD and killed one in OK.  When the dust settled, I pulled the trigger on 9, called up 4 for my wife, 2 for my dad and 2 for a buddy, totaling 17 long beards killed.  However, along the way there were 3 misses and one cripple.  Fortunately only one of the misses was mine.

All in all it was a great season and to cap off another year for our 6th year in a row, we went out west.  I got to spend a week traveling and killing turkeys with two of the people that mean the most to me, my wife and dad.  We were gone 7 days.  We traveled 3 and hunted 4.  We killed 8 longbeards.

Ryan so happy for you and the lady (your dad too).  Way to put the hurt on them!

Mitchell asked me the other day, when we going to go see Ryan and Morgan again...  I think he likes being around you, Maggie and Morgan!

Congrats on many fine birds!  That gives me hope that one day I might be able to get my wife out there, haha.
