I have been wanting to get a trumpet from Billy for a long time now. So I called him and he was really nice to talk to. Billy told me about this Osage trumpet that was his personal hunting call. I told him I'd take it!! It's a keeper for sure. (http://i1215.photobucket.com/albums/cc505/turkeycall/IMG_0631.jpg) (http://s1215.photobucket.com/user/turkeycall/media/IMG_0631.jpg.html) This one will get a work out come spring. Thanks Billy for the great piece!!

Great pickup. I'm surprised he would let his personal call go. One to treasure for sure. RkLu What mouth piece did you get with it? I like the #4 or 5 for mature hen sounds.

Great find, can you tell much difference between the #3 vs the 4? I have a 4 and wonder if I might should consisder a 2 over a 3.
Thanks
-
There's a small difference ... A little younger sound where the 4-5 are older he sounds.

Thanks
-
Billy makes some of the best trumpets out there
Great guy to get to know also.
Congrats Brent for a KEEPER

Yep, that's a great little call, congrats on prying it away from the old man. I switch around a bit through the season to hunt a particular trumpet for sentimental reasons, but the call that's around my neck most of the season is a stabilized osage yelper made back in 1994.
