Title: All wood deer grunters

I have been making turkey calls for awhile and would like to try my hand at some deer grunters as well. Does anyone have the rough size of an all wood grunt call that they would be willing to share? Thanks for any help in advance. :)

  I use a 7" blank, cut it in half, cut a 1/2" tennon on the exhaust end, makes a 6 1/2" call. Has worked well for me.

The length and hole size of the exhaust end will also alter the sound...like the plastic tubes...
