Late August was the Michigan Longbow Association Great Lakes Longbow Invitational, and a rare chance that I get to catch up with my buddies Nick and Steve Viau. I made Nick (LifeAndLongbows) a Locust Pot, slate over glass, and he made me this great string jig. I've already made 3 strings with it...its Oak, with a purple heart cutting spot.

Wonder where that Purple heart came from? ;D
Nice trade John. You'll get a lot of use out of that.
