Title: Dyed Black Ash Burl
Post by: merocustomcalls on December 06, 2012, 04:30:09 PM
Here's two stabilized and dyed black ash burl trumpets.  Both have ebony barrel caps.  The one on the right is dyed yellow and has an ivory mouthpiece.  The one on the left has a walrus jawbone mouthpiece.  Very easy to turn with sharp tools.

Click on the picture to enlarge, thanks for looking.

Forgot to mention a big thanks to Dave Smith for giving me a piece of walrus jawbone for the mouthpiece.  It definitely takes some patience to turn but yields a very unique look.
