Thanks to some of the finest gentlemen I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know I will again be priviledged(?) to pursue fall turkeys. South Carolina is my home and as such no fall season is scheduled, even though this fine tradition has some very long roots into its history. I have had the great fortune to meet some of my heros of the turkey hunting world because of the kindness of two individuals, who I won't name, but they will know who they are. I can't wait for the bark of one of John Byrnes Appalachian turkey dogs as he puts a flock of turkeys to air, and the gathering calls that are never heard in the Spring turkey woods, all while being serenaded by some of the best callers, using custom made calls to lure the game to gun. Dang I can't wait, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
