Title: a "Wildtalker" slate from Mike Battey
Post by: jmck on June 06, 2012, 12:04:30 PM
I was busy in the booth at Nashville when Mike dropped in and was playing some of his trumpets and new Slate pot call. The sound immediatlly got my attention. I contacted Mike and got me a trumpet and the other item I HAD to have just arrived. Its a Walnut slate pot call he named the Wildtalker. Let me say, this little call has the tone in it, Its a killer call just as he calls it. Thanks Mike for bothh the trumpet as well as this little Wildtalker slate.I like it alot !!!!!

After reading the posts on the Wildtalker slate I had to call Mike to hear what they sound like. They are surely packed with a bunch a turkey talk. They have a sound of there own.

Got one headed my way also.

Great looking slate!! It is for sure a keeper!  *up*
