Just returned from our annual Texas Rio trip and man what a trip it was. It is an early spring in Texas as it is everywhere and the hens had already begun nesting. The gobblers were looking for love and readily came to the call! Six hunters killed twelve birds in 2 days. All birds were killed with 20 gauge guns and Hevi or Tungsten handloads. Enjoy the photos. The ranch and in fact the entire region looked as if multi colored paint had been splattered about. The Girl called up and killed two great birds with her new trumpet and then called up one for her GrandDaddy to kill! The Boy killed two nice birds. A great time was had by all.
All the best,
Doc
