This week we have some really nice calls to auction . We will start with a beautiful trumpet made by Craig Scott . This call is made from cherry with a buffalo horn mouthpiece and a brass ferrule . Craig added twisting flutes down the barrel for the first time . I will start the bidding on this call at $100
The second call this week will be a set of crow and owl calls from Award winning callmaker Lee Smith . Both calls are made from butternut and walnut . The bidding will start with a my bid of $ 80
The 3rd offering this week is a sweet trumpet caller made by Brian Mero . Brian made this call from pink ivory wood in recognition of Kinsley Brian said " All girls like pink , right ! " Brian is also throwing in one of his camo hats with his logo and a livestrong bracelet in honor of those who have battled cancer . This will make a great addition to anyone's collection . The bidding is at $150 right now set by Kyle T.
Last up for your consideration is a beautiful boxcall made by Jack Wright . Jack is listed in Earl Mickel's 3rd book on callmakers . He is the only callmaker I have ever heard of who does not hunt turkeys . He saw a turkey call once and thought it would be nice to make some . He makes some of the most unusual and beautiful calls to be had . This one is made from spalted maple with curly sassafrass on one side and curly sitka spruce on the other side and has his classic "dropped " handle . The bidding on this call will start at $75
