64 inch ?,,,,,,she oughta be smooth on the draw
pretty smooth.....................gonna have to get used to hold'in her though :P .........she'll give ya the shakes pretty quick..................

Chris I'm not sure but I'm sure the guy's over on there will know. Please let me know what you find out. I'm a collector of Herters bows and have every year catalog from 1958 to 1973 that shows every model they made in those years that I use for research.

I'm somewhat confused as to what you mean by ''holdin' her ''. Recurves and longbows ain't meant to be held ,,if your reffering to the draw weight or string .

You ever read Fred Asbells books on instinctive shooting? Not askin' to be critical .

The one bow looks like a Herters . I owned one back in the mid 80's.

Chris,

I just refinished an old bow awhile back for a buddy that was his Dads first bow, I didn't even pay attention to the maker or anything but will have to look and see if I have some pic's. The bow I did had camo tape wrapped around it from head to toe and it was a real project. It took me about 3 days just to get all the tape off of it. JC told me the bow was about 35 years old. It was fun restoring it back to it's original beauty.
