The guys from our camp went together to get our neighbor a trumpet call. I had one hanging around my neck earlier this fall when he came over to congratulate me on a jake I took. He saw the trumpet hanging and asked what it was. I told him a trumpet call, and he asked for me to play it. Liking what he heard, he asked if I could get one for him.
So, Southern Spur was happy to help us out, and we found a gift for a guy who already seems to have all the toys.
I couldn't resist after I opened the package, I had heard Jeff's calls are easy to run, which this one certainly is. Nice, mellow and rich tone from this call, and kee-kees very easily. Thanks Jeff -- a very nice call indeed.
