New style call (opinions needed)

I decided to try a new style on my pot calls, give me your honest opinions on the look. Its figured walnut with a slate surface. I tried a few different things with the sound board. This call has more volume than my glass calls.

I'm not the best judge but it's not bad at all. How tall is it? From the pics it looks to be over an inch. I think you're on to something though. If you left the bottom "pedastal" off I would love it. It looks good though.

Shoot in that case I love it. Hard to tell from pics. I like a little bit "taller" call. 15/16 to 7/8 suits me just fine. It looks like it would be comfortable in you're hand.

Looks great. I agree with the hand grip comment, though. If it feels right, it's a winner!
