I've been in the shop again! Here are some of the Myrtle scratch boxes that I built this week with wood that my good friend John Kent hand selected in Oregon last spring and delivered to me personally last summer. John did a great job. The wood is beautiful, and those of you who are familiar with myrtle wood know what great sounds it is capable of producing. Matched to an osage orange or walnut striker, these really talk the talk! The lasered calls are limited editions, numbered one, two and three of each scene. Some of the calls I finished this week are already spoken for, including the number one calls of each lasered series, but I hope to have several of the ones in this picture left to bring to Nashville in two weeks.
