Here are a couple more calls I just finished . I built these from a piece of the best looking box elder I have ever seen . This is flamed burl from a box elder that I got from my buddy gary Midgette, and I really like this wood . It is alot more dense than it normally is because of the burl . It would make a great wood for trumpet turners . I paired it with California Bay Laurel from another friend , Dave Smith . This wood has awesome grain in it and it smells really good when you work it . The rest of the calls are made from mahogany . These calls look nice but most important , they have all the sounds that I like in a turkey call . Almost caught up on orders , let me know if you would like to get one made for you or a friend . Thanks for looking !
Bob
