The bird scoring this year will be the same as last year. A team member can only enter one bird in the contest. The score for that bird will be to mutiply its beard length by 2, mutiply each spur length by 10, add the 3 numbers together for a total score for that bird. One change this year since we only have 6 members per team is that all 6 members must enter a score for a bird. If someone does not kill a gobbler then his score will be 0. Last year we scored 6 birds for each team and there were 7 team members. So each team was able to drop their lowest score. No scores will be dropped this year.
