a traded for trumpet from Daryl Slayton
« on: January 25, 2012, 10:36:29 AM »
Many of us know ole Daryl and the maker of some fine screaming pots not doubt !!! I worked out a trade with the ole Tennesse'ian for one of his trumpets and boy did I get the best end of the trade. I am new to trumpets and Bullock advised me when he heard me on one...not to use it at Marlins around him....he CRUSHED my ego !!! *cry*
Well, Daryl, this one is easy to play and I think even Bullock will apporve with what I am aleardy getting out of her. I like it alot my friend and many many thanks !!!!
It East Indian Rosewood Burl.....
thanks for the gem of a trumpet!!!

Practice on the way to Nashville with Tim in the car, you may need that at night to drown out the noise

Awesome trumpet from a great friend...  I'm always surprised that Daryl started making them... it's made him mellow out on his calling level a bit too  *peep*  Last year my darn ears were not ringing for 14 days after our hunt  ROTFLMBO
