yep south Ga has gotem....

got this one huntin som bunnies season before last....his tail touched the ground and he was missin 6" off his head...just fer referance i'm not a huge guy but i'm 6' an 215lbs

got this rascal this trky season...he was only bout 3 and a half foot....

Yep they are bad here in GA. Actually seen a few about that size in Alabama and GA. Some even bigger. and that is saying something.

X2 When I see any snake it's a Cobra! In Pa. you have to get a permit to hunt Rattlers and can only keep or kill one per year.
We use to have organized snake hunts in the northern counties where Rattlers were a problem but the antis put a stop to most of that since now the Rattlers must be released in the same area they were caught. A lot of the captured snakes were milked for anti venom but that is cruelity to snakes now. They should take the yuppies that push for this kind of legislation and turn them loose every summer in their bare feet in the old slate mines around here. Bet they would get a instant attitude adjustment.
