It's time for the box call contest. Starting tonight through sept. 11th anyone who wishes to enter the contest should email a sound file to dannymaurer@hotmail.com you have 3 weeks to get practiced and put your best sound file and email it to me at dannymaurer@hotmail.com your file will be put to mediafire privately and put onto this site only...it will be kept anonymous under this topic and numbered.. I will email you back your number so you can check it on osageroost..this will make voting private and everything anonymous...Also you can only enter 1 sound file...
The sequence for calling will be (fly down cackle, putt, yelp, kee kee)... sound file must be under 2 minutes in length... only members who have entered a sound file can vote on the calling.. the voting will not start until sept. 11th at that time we will compile the votes and only the top 3 places will be announced..
remember that you cannot vote for yourself but you can vote for 2 callers (1 time).. when referencing your votes make sure to use the Number of the participant you are voting for.. All votes will be sent via PM to a person we choose later... All votes will be kept private and anonymous..
If for some reason your sound file doesn't meet the criteria above you will have a chance to redo.. this is not a huge competition but instead meant to be fun and easy going..
If we don't get 10 or more people we will scrap the idea. Please put a comment if you are thinking of making a sound file for the contest.
